Cornwall and its beautiful yet sometimes stark landscape fuels my creative and spiritual practice since moving here from Bristol in 2021. It would be a lie to say this was an easy transition. I moved here at the very end of pandemic, in desperate need to regulate my fragile nervous system. My career was pressed on ‘pause’, the weather constantly reminded me that I’m living on the island and I felt a sense tension within the community. Which of course wasn’t a surprise. Second home owners hugely affect the local community.

Some may say that there are less opportunities here, and disposable income is much smaller. Sure, most of us hustles. Almost everyone I know has a few ways of making income. But I have been met with nothing but kindness; from the land, and people living here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This album contains a variety of photographs captured around Cornwall.
